Mischa Barton Tries to Fool People by Selling Headbands Worth $200

Mischa Barton is trying to sell to gullible teenage fans some uber expensive headbands, probably claiming that it’s the “IT” accessory today. It wouldn’t be a big deal though and I wouldn’t care less if she released thousands of her headbands up for sale, but to sell these hippie-looking things for $50 to $200 each? It’s just toooo much.

Yes, Barton may have been proclaimed a fashionista by some fashion gurus, but this doesn’t give her the passes to fool consumers into buying such expensive accessories and even encourage kids to wear “bands” the wrong way.Apparently, designer Stacey Lapidus has something in common with Barton, since she helped Mischa develop the headbands. When asked about her headband collection, Mischa Barton said, “Accessorizing is oddly my favorite part of dressing up. I’ve been working in the likes of India, Milan, Paris, London, Montreal, L.A, and NYC. My style has been somewhat boho chic, which I think is a result of having traveled so extensively throughout the course of the past year.”
