Jon Gosselin Wants to Stop TLC from Exploiting His Kids…Now that He’s Off the Show

Wow. Nice timing to become a concerned father for your 8 kids Jon. Now that TLC has announced the new set-up for the show to be named “Kate Plus 8,” Jon is demanding to stop the show as believes it ain’t good for his kids…or else cops will be involved.

Via his lawyer Mark J. Heller, TLC was given a letter that stated:

“Effective immediately, no production crews are to enter Jon’s family home for any reason. In the event that anyone enters the marital property, Jon Gosselin will notify the local authorities to effectuate police action against any trespassers.”

Jon is demanding that since he and Kate own the home where the show is being shot and he still has joint custody over his kids, he has the right to make decisions about their welfare, which is quite ironic because he only used this “right” when he’s on the losing end.

According to reports, the letters given to TLC were dated Tuesday, the same day the network announced it was “minimizing” his role on the show and changing the name to Kate Plus 8. Unfortunately for Jon, he only found this out by reading about it in the press. He thought TLC was pulling the plug on the entire show. Now, with Jon out of the picture, he’s acting all “Father of the Year” and believes it is not in the best interest of the children’s welfare to continue with production of the show.

Jon is scheduled for a press tour, beginning on a guest spot on Larry King Live Thursday, while “Kate Plus 8″ airs Mondays at 9/8c on TLC.
