Jason Castro, the dreadlocked singer who finished fourth on American Idol Season 7, married girlfriend Mandy Mayhall near Dallas, guests at his wedding tweeted.

On Sunday, Castro took it to Twitter to announce his marriage, saying, “Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!! : )”

The couple announced their engagement in November last year, after Castro proposed on Halloween as the two were in costume as Beauty and the Beast. Earlier this week, Jason enjoyed a bachelor party complete with bowling, poker and pool. On top of the good news, Jason Castro will also be releasing “The Love Uncompromised EP,”  followed by a full-length album in the spring.
