Justin Bieber to make his acting debut on CSI
Don’t expect the teen sensation to be fighting crimes or inspecting dead bodies. Justin Bieber has won a guest role in the hit TV crime series “CSI.”
CBS announced that 16-year-old Bieber will play a troubled teen who’s caught in a sticky situation about his brother.
Bieber will be appearing on the season premiere of CSI in September and will continue to make other guest appearances throughout the season.
CSI producers call Justin Bieber a world phenomenon. If you weigh in his 250 million views on YouTube, the mass hysteria he receives during concerts and the sales of his debut album “My World 2.0,” you can really consider this teen sensation a phenomenon.
CSI executive producers Don McGill, Anthony Zuiker and Carol Mendelsohn said in a statement, “We’d like to believe that the phenomenon of ‘CSI’ has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers. This will be true event television.”
