After months of anticipation, fans of Conan O’Brien will have a name to call their soon-to-be favorite late-night show. Conan officially announced Tuesday that he will be returning to TV with his new show called “Conan.”

The announcement came in a YouTube video, where Conan sat in an office holding a sign. He joked that he spent millions of dollars in media and legal research in deciding a name for his new show before he decided to use his own. He said, “It’s Conan, simple, pure, like the guy himself.”

In a Twitter message on Tuesday, O’Brien joked that he was prepared to announce the show’s title earlier “but my lawyers tell me ‘The Return of Nanny McPhee’ is taken.”

“Conan” will make its premiere November 8 on TBS.

Although Lindsay Lohan is now free from jail and rehab, her life is back to normal… as normal as her past fights with dad Michael Lohan. Now, Lindsay has sent a cease and desist letter to Michael, ordering him to stop selling her personal property.
According to reports, Michael is trying to sell a diary handwritten by Lindsay during her 2007 rehab time at the Utah-based Cirque Lodge.

In the letter from Lindsay’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley to her father’s rep Lisa Bloom, Lindsay accuses her father of attempting to sell excerpts of the diary without her permission. The letter serves as a warning if he tried to sell any part or the entire diary, Lindsay will be seeking damages for “grave invasion of privacy.”

The 24-year-old actress seems to be turning back on her troubled past, but still blames her father for many of the problems she faced in her life. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Lindsay Lohan said she is now “focused on the bigger picture and learning to overcome the trauma.”

Ashton Kutcher went defensive on his Twitter about a report from Star magazine that he allegedly cheated on his wife Demi Moore.


Kutcher tweeted: “I think Star magazine calling me a ‘cheater’ qualifies as defamation of character. I hope my lawyer agrees.” He added, “STAR magazine — you don’t get to stand behind ‘freedom of the press’ when you are writing fiction.”

Star magazine published a story that cited an “unnamed source” who witnessed Kutcher “kissing and groping” an unidentified blonde at the LA-based resto Madeo. The tabloid added that the 15-year age gap of Moore and Ashton finally took its toll on their marriage.

The 32-year-old Ashton Kutcher and 47-year-old Moore married on September 24, 2005. They will be celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary in a few weeks.

Samantha Ronson’s bulldog named Cadillac killed a smaller dog near their West Hollywood home and the celebrity DJ can’t say sorry enough. Unfortunately for Ronson, she’ll be facing investigation in the reported dog attack as she grieves about the incident.

Ronsonwrote on her Twitter, “I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences. Unfortunately there are no words

to describe how sorry I am. There is absolutely nothing I can say that will alter one minute of today, nothing.”

The case is currently under investigation by the LA County Department of Animal Care & Control. Spokesperson for the department Michelle Roache told People.com, “The incident is still an allegation until such a time that a witness provides evidence to support the allegation.”

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian with their mom Kris Jenner signed a deal with QVC for K-Dash by Kardashian, a new clothing/accessories line that would include bags, belts, vests, tunics and more.

The new collection, with prices ranging from $20 to $240, is scheduled to debut on QVC as part of Fashion’s Night Out, live from New York’s Rockefeller Center on Friday, September 10th 9PM EST. Of course, all the Kardashian girls and their design team will be there for the event.

As a way to promote their new line, Kim and Kourtney have already showed off some pieces from the collection. Earlier this month, the sisters walked around Beverly Hills with Kim sporting a faux fur trimmed sweater vest and gray knit leggings, followed by a ponte red knit dress and faux leather motorcycle jacket. Kourtney wore a leopard belted tunic and leather fringe cross-body bag.

Other designers to join the Kardashians at the event include Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant, Isaac Mizrahi, Bradley Bayou and Marc Bouwer.

Paris Hilton isn’t making her possession of cocaine arrest a big deal, but reports say she should. According to reports, the heiress will be facing felony drug charge.

Las Vegas District Attorney David Roger, who put OJ Simpson behind bars on robbery charges, doesn’t give special treatments to celebrities, especially those who don’t play the rules in Las Vegas. A source close to Roger told RadarOnline that the attorney isn’t going to offer Hilton a plea deal. In fact, Roger is planning to put the reality TV star behind bars for 1 to 4 years… and has already filed the felony case against Hilton.

Paris Hilton tried to ease her way out of trouble, saying that the purse and the cocaine inside it wasn’t hers. She explained that she borrowed the purse from one of her girlfriends because the one she brought “did not match her outfit.” Hilton admitted owning the credit cards, prescription drugs and money inside the pursue, but not the 0.8 grams of cocaine.

The source claimed, “Her demands got out of hand. Fox had just had enough.”

Although there are reports Idol will be back with the three-judge setup, Fox hasn’t revealed who they plan to replace Ellen DeGeneres or Simon Cowell. Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is rumored to have landed a spot on the judges table, but no confirmations from the network has yet to be announced.

The two hot stars have made headlines in the past months when Kim Kardashian joked on Twitter that she was dating the teen heartthrob, which resulted in a bunch of death threats from Bieber’s fans. Bieber has since cleared the rumor and said that they’re just friends.

But it looks like Emma Watson has plenty of competition for her dream role. Ellen Page, Natalie Portman, Carey Mulligan, Kristen Stewart and Mia Wasikowska have all reportedly given interest for the same role.

Emma Watson recently unveiled her pixie haircut and reportedly auditioned for the film. When she posted a picture of her new haircut on her Facebook page, she wrote: “Cut my hair off a few days ago. Feels incredible… It’s the most liberating thing ever.” Did she cut it for the role? Well according to The Sun, the 20-year-old Harry Potter star wanted to “look the part” of Lisbeth Salander – the genius computer hacker troubled with a traumatic childhood. The character has short hair with a punk/goth style.

If this report is true, Emma has just leveled the playing field with her move. Apparently, Noomi Rapace, the actress who played Lisbeth in the Swedish version, cut her hair to look punky for her audition and eventually landed the role.

Rachel’s rep said “The engagement is off.” No other details were given about the reason of split.
